Congratulations to the Cast and Crew of The Humans!
Our friends at Theatre & Dance at Wayne continue their season with August Wilsonβs powerful drama Seven Guitars, directed by Billicia Charnelle Hines.
Set in Pittsburghβs Hill District in 1948, Seven Guitars follows a group of friends mourning the sudden death of blues guitarist Floyd βSchoolboyβ Barton. Through live music and lyrical dialogue, this American Century Cycle masterpiece explores ambition, systemic injustice, and the search for legacy. Donβt miss this moving and music-filled production that celebrates community and resilience on the STAGE at the Hilberry Gateway.

A2CTβs 2025-26 Season Announced!
$60,000 in 6 Months
For 95 years, the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre has enriched our community with evocative work and learning opportunities.
From studio productions to main stage musicals, over 600 productions have been put on by the community for the community.
And weβre not planning on stopping anytime soon.
Howeverβ¦
Ticket sales alone do not cover expenses, as we have kept our ticket price affordable,
Grants and sponsorships have become more and more limited, and
More staffing is needed to help us work towards our 3 and 5 year goals, not just to manage the day-to-day.
And therefore, to continue:
making theatre accessible and affordable,
providing quality programming and artistic opportunities,
educating our community by way of classes, meet-ups, and workshops, and
maintaining our mission of βart for allβ...
β¦ weβre calling on you to help us raise $60,000 in the next 6 months.
We've set this ambitious timeline in order to lay the groundwork for a strong and inspiring next season - one that reflects the excellence and inclusivity our community deserves.
Update on our Move
Good news for now: We've secured an extension to our space until August 2026. We're still in the process of discussing a future move, but we have more time to consider our options. Stay tuned!
